Black is always my choice of color when it comes to outfits. I suppose it’s probably because as I aged I am also adopting the minimalist precept to fashion. If I get to create my own capsule wardrobe a monochrome fad is probably my #1 choice of style .

Independent local brand Ill City Clothing has recently launched their 3 new Shirt designs epitomizing the fascination for power, strength and Insignia. The 2 designs namely: Elite & Royalty fueled the thought  that embracing your uniqueness is power and true strength while the other design Treinta Y Tres symbolizes the local area code of Iloilo City (033), given their clothing tag line is "The City that Made Me" 
I feel honored to be chosen to represent it  since this is also my first time to present a local clothing brand that came from the city where  I was born and brought up.  

I am one of those unfortunate damsel who isn’t blessed with a beautiful locks  (sigh)  with a hair that is dry and frizzy every morning is a constant struggle (phew!)  That is why when I saw this parody shirt from www.nastydress.com I told myself “Hah! This one is for me” hahaha 

I also got myself a graceful faux layer pearl bar choker from nasty dress to pair with the shirt. I must admit I was not a big fan of choker before, but decided to give it a try anyway and yeah, this is the first time that I get to wear a choker. Nastydress sells so many beautiful chokers and honestly, I had a hard time picking.

The pretty month of September is  coming to an end and as I review my September  posts   2 realization dawned over me  1^st I’ve been slacking a little bit on my fashion blogging and 2^nd If I’ll ever get fed up with wearing rompers. But considering just how many good reasons this grown up onesies  could give,  made me think logically. I mean, come on,  it’s a one stop outfit, no need to pick a top or bottom, no need to deliberate what goes with this or with that. It's a time saver for the busy bees.

Last weekend  boyfriend and I went food hunting and I wore this white floral print long sleeve romper  from www.stayingsummer.com. Hmmmm, speaking of summer, the floral prints kinda reminds me of summer. I think it's fair enough to think of summer as the cold months is approaching  hihihi

A bag in the form of a lipstick? Certainly! This adorable cross body bag from www.trendsgal.com is never a flight of fancy, unrealistic as it may appear this bag is real and it's the cutest thing ever!

 Bags such as this gave a whole new meaning to the word "statement bags" you see they are far more whimsical and fun to carry around. Think about Charlotte Olympia's popcorn bag or Olympia Le-Tan's book clutch, truly a work of art. And right now I am beginning to be obsessed  with statements bags hahaha Thanks to trendsGal for their wide array of statement bags!

Hello lovelies so sorry for the lack of outfit updates, It’s quite challenging to take outfit shots recently given my busy schedules.  Fellow fashion bloggers would truly understand how hard it is to take outfit photos when you have to consider many aspects and one of which is the location.  But a few days ago had the opportunity to take a quick outfit shot. Thanks to my bf who I think is already getting the hang of my passion and have become my photographer. :D 

A few days ago I had luncheon with my bf before he left town for a month (sigh). I wore what he says is his favorite dress for me. 

This chic round collar striped asymmetric shortsleeve dress also happens to be my favorite for the reason that it entails both comfort and basic.

 Actually, seeing it at www.rosegal.com evokes that one moment I first fell in-love with fashion. That moment when you finally decided in your heart that fashion will be your passion. All I can say is that we deserve to feel the best everyday.

Summer has ended in the Philippines but somehow it’s still summer somewhere and hence, I’m wearing this  halter floral printed top and HW shorts from www.zaful.com. The material is made of polyester silk so it’s very supple on the skin and my fascination with halter tops never die away that is why when I saw this I know in my heart that I need to have this twinset. It’s something that you would wear on emergency days like when you believe you have nothing to wear.

Chambray  the somewhat polish  version of denim is undeniably having been making waves around the fashion industry and I’m one of those that got hooked with it. I love anything that is chambray and I’m always drawn to it. If you’re going to ask me why, it’s because 1^st Chambray goes with almost anything, you can pair it with a lace, with a leather, a skirt, a pants, a tutu, a denim  and so on.  2^nd it’s effortlessly cool and 3^rd the texture itself is riveting and unlike the denim that is quite heavy, chambray's are more lightweight,  so it's more supple on the skin. 

And speaking of light weight fabrics UNIQLO is one clothing company that often use light fabrics even on their denims and a good example of it is their miracle air jeans that promises comfort.

Gone are the fairy tale daydreams where a prince charming would sweep you off your feet,  rescue you from a fire breathing dragon and whisk you off to a faraway land to live happily ever after.  When your 20 you’ll realize that Prince Charming is not as easy to find as you contemplate and that happily ever after doesn’t really exist especially this point in time where love seems surreal.

 When you experience heartbreak  you feel a huge hollowness, you know that emptiness that seems too impossible to fill in and regrettably  school can teach you how to pull through from a broken heart. But come with heartbreaks are tough lessons.... Lessons that can only be learned from experiencing love and getting hurt. 

It’s the time of year again where loud Indie music and extreme fashion collides. I'm talking about  Coachella, the most awaited music festival in Palm Spring, CA. Sad though that I’m thousands of miles away and flying out just to witness the event for 2 weeks is way too impossible. But perhaps… maybe…someday.  

One of the anticipated moments in Coachella aside from the crowd gratifying  musical performances is the unforgettable fashion moments. You see Coachella isn't all about music, but it's also about fashion.
