Annoyingly, I’ve been procrastinating these past weeks and blame myself for being unproductive hahaha this is one of the things so I’ve set aside. Only yesterday my best friend and I went to check on Forever 21 store since they are having a mega sale at 50% off wew! Guilty Pleasures activated!
I’ve always been verbal about my fondness for forever 21. It’s always been a favorite brand. How my love affair with forever 21 started could be traced back when I was just 14 and in the form of a red polka dot sundress - my first ever Forever 21 owned dress. Since then my fascination for the brand grew year after year after year.
The Groceteria is the brainchild of Chef Miguel Cordova, who also happens to be the owner of DOVA Brunch café. In fact The Groceteria is the same place where the first branch of Dova is, but with the relocation of DOVA to Megaworld Iloilo, Chef Miguel decided to turn the place into something different, hence the birth of The Groceteria.
From the word Grocery and Cafeteria, the Groceteria promises a dissimilar concept from DOVA. 'Coz aside from its cafeteria priced dine in comfort foods. It offers frozen dishes and other goods such as purple rice, bread, etc.
"Start the day with coffee and end it with a wine" an adage that best describes the recently opened Seventy N: Coffee + Drinkery. A coffee shop by day and Gastropub by night.
Last night we got invited to dine and wine at this contemporary space. The wood interiors are accentuated with black colors, adding sleekness to this place. Making it laid back yet a cool place for late night drinks with friends.
I don’t know when was the last time I stayed up late because I could rarely stay up past 10:00 PM anymore hahaha it’s probably the wine or the hustling crowd that kept me awake.

Carlo’s Bakeshop celebrates its 30th anniversary and kicks off their year-long celebration with an important milestone with the celebration of the Buluwanon na Nanay 2017, the awarding of top mothers of Iloilo by the Iloilo City Government Task Force on Iloilo Street Children.
Bulawanon na Nanay was started in 2009 by the Iloilo City Government Task Force on Street Children where LGU, NGOs, Commission on Human Rights, and the private sector all got together thinking of an activity for mother’s day. It has been searching, the past 8 years, for deserving mothers who raise children while protecting their rights and developing them to be good members of the community.
