15 Years of You: Damires Hills Celebrates Crystal Anniversary with Grand Unveilings

November 20, 2025

Damires Hills Farm and Spa Resort successfully hosted its grand 15th-year anniversary celebration, Hamili: 15 Years of You, on November 16, 2025. The event marked the resort’s evolution from bare land into a jewel of Ilonggo tourism, commemorating the journey with its most cherished partners, clients, and community members.

The celebration began with a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the newest events venue, the magnificent Gardenia Pavilion. Dr. Louie and Dra. Arlene Tirador, the visionaries behind the resort, were joined by Architect Edgar Dela Cruz, Iloilo Governor Arthur “Toto” Defensor Jr., and Third District Board Member, Jason Gonzales for the ceremonial cutting.

A Vision for Growth and Gratitude
Vice President for Operations, Mr. Paolo Lorenzo Tirador, officially opened the program with warm welcome remarks, setting the tone for a day of celebration and gratitude. Dr. Louie Tirador then delivered a heartfelt message that reflected on the 15-year journey and the purpose that drives the resort's deep commitment to nature and Ilonggo hospitality.

The celebration continued with a ceremonial toast led by the Tirador Family, alongside key resort leaders: Mr. Marlon Navarro, General Manager; and Mr. Atho De la Cruz, Ilaya Retreat Spa Director.

New Spaces for Growth and Connection
The anniversary served as the backdrop for the official opening of three major additions designed to significantly elevate the guest experience. The new Heliconia Premier Building now stands as the newest accommodation wing, presenting larger, cozy, and serene rooms with stunning nature views. Alongside this, the Balay Uma Extension substantially expands the restaurant’s capacity, allowing the team to serve a greater number of patrons more effectively.
The grand inauguration of the Gardenia Pavilion provided the centerpiece for the day’s activities. This newly completed, expansive venue is eyed to host large corporate gatherings and grand celebrations tha would significantly expand Damires Hills' ability to host major events. These sophisticated new spaces emphasize the resort's commitment to setting a higher standard for both relaxation and event hosting in the Western Visayas.

Honoring Treasured Relationships
Damires Hills used the occasion to also honor the deep relationships that strengthen and elevate the resort. The inaugural Hamili Awards recognized various partners for their support. A special Hamili Token of Gratitude was presented to Architect Edgar Dela Cruz of EDC Architecture for his design contributions. Furthermore, the resort recognized valued Government and Corporate Accounts and key Corporate Event Suppliers, acknowledging these long-term, treasured partnerships.

A Glimpse Forward
General Manager Mr. Marlon Navarro seized the moment, detailing the exciting advancements and guest-focused initiatives awaiting Damires Hills in the years ahead. Placing strong emphasis on guest loyalty and appreciation, he introduced a brand-new program created exclusively for the resort's most dedicated patrons: the Hamili Membership Program. It represents an elevated membership lifestyle by offering exclusive privileges to those who value the convenience and familiarity of staying at Damires Hills at every opportunity. In deep recognition of their treasured patronage, members gain immediate access to advantages, including special rates, priority booking, and exclusive experiences that collectively enhance the value and quality of their overall stay.

The future of Damires Hills Farm and Spa Resort looks incredibly promising as it continues to grow its facilities while staying rooted in its commitment to genuine Ilonggo hospitality. The resort aims to build upon this strong foundation of nature and culture, innovating to ensure every visit surpasses expectations. Damires Hills remains dedicated to being the cherished destination where every visitor finds their sense of belonging where they can truly settle and feel Home at Last.
