The New Kamalig 2.0

Ang Kamalig levels up and relaunches with a new store renovation and new dishes in preparation for the MICE activities of the City.    By going back to its roots,  the culture and the history of the Ilonggo people, they bring you the Ilonggo Table.  Ask any Ilonggo and they will always describe their childhood memories with food included and their Ilonggo Table. 

Their anniversary while going on their 5th year is a take on the Ilonggo Table.  Set One is the Paborito ni Toto with the famous comfort food, the KBL soup mixed with other dishes like the Ubud salad, Steamed oysters, Inasal na Manok, Rellenong Talong;  
and the other set, called Luto ni Inday served with the Binakol na Manok, Linusgusan nga Pasayan and the Grilled Pork Belly (Liempo) and still with Ubud Salad and Steamed Oysters.  Both sets are served with Slices of Biscocho cake specially made for Ilonggo Table and for their anniversary.  They also have the merienda version set of Ilonggo Table na Merienda ni Nene which is the Pancit Molo with biscocho and empanada and hot tsokolate.   

Do  these not remind you of your hometown’s Ilonggo Table?  
The store in Atria also undergoes a facelift readying itself for the MICE visits and the millennials who now abound all over the city.    MICE stands for Meetings, Incentive travel, Conventions and Exhibitions and is the primary thrust of the city.  With more and more travelers and tourists to Iloilo, aside from the numerous balikbayans and its dear OFWS, 

Ang Kamalig showcases its Ilonggo cuisines to the ones who have always been curious to learn about it and taste it and to the ones who miss its taste.  It is said one can learn culture through the palate and at Ang Kamalig restaurant, this is very true.
